Yeah like WTF, there is tons of Celicas in England too. Even those Best Motoring guys, they hardly got an Celicas in there vids either. If anyone has a good Best Motoring vid featuring the Celi, please post a link. So far all I found was the Rouge 200 one, with the C-1 celi, but it had a bone stock engine...wtf is that all about?

lets see, it's 600 lbs lighter, RWD, AND stock handles like a well adjusted modified celica. of course it's a better car... of course you will also pay twice as much lol

just because they have the same engine doesnt mean they are the same car lol

although the guy in that vid said they got a 0-60 of 4.9 seconds. I guess theyd be shocked as hell if they lined up next to me and got rocked all the way down the track lol

I've also heard of people doing 0-60 in 4.4 seconds stock so that driver sucked.

why would they mention a car that's getting axed this year?? wy would they mention a car that is not even in the running as far as performance in the sport compact car class???...

i think the celica deserves mention in the year 1999 ...not 2005 rofl

Thus why our cars are underdogs.. and quite underrated. But yes our cars were praised years ago, back in '99 and '00, for our cars to recieve praise now would be like the RSX Type-S getting publicity and you may see more of those cars but that is just because they are popular.

Damn Toyota should have released a Type R sort of model for '04 & '05, like that Sports M version they got in Japan (something with 200-210hp that could challenge the RSX Type S / Type R models head on), then it would have stirred up some real interest in the car! Damn, I would have bought one. This is how Acura kept the Teg alive from 1993 to 2001. Anyways, what's done is done, sports coupes are disappearing fast, while powerful 4-dr sedans are coming back.

Here is a couple links for you guys to Best Motoring Vids, you need to have bit torrent installed. Just do a save-as on the links to start d/l:

Clos, you wanna get the Evo Strikes Back Vol.8, that has the C-1 Celica in it. smile
