Alright, I've been waiting to finally fix this but here is the deal. If you need a pic to explain this better, I'll probably whip one up on the cell phone camera but it is pretty easy.

I hit a deer one night, or the deer hit me. It's one way or the other. The bumper ended up just fine but the left headlight is damaged, and it's the hinge on the top where it is bolted in. It is broken just before the bolt that secures it alongside the fender. There's two bolts on a Celica headlight so I would imagine this is not hard to picture. So, what do I do? Can I replace the black plastic body of the headlight? It is still completely functional, and I am not wasting 250 dollars on a new one. I just need to find a new housing. I explained it to the Toyota dealer and he said I have to replace the whole thing, which is pretty unbelievable.

It was pretty funny at the time of impact because the deer caught the left side of the car and I got a lot of undercarry on it and clipped the hell out of it. It ended up flipping in the air twice in front of me with it's legs still frantically going everywhere. So yeah, I was dying laughing until I stopped to check out the damage because I just couldn't help it.

There's actually 3 bolts on a headlight... HEHE

Do you still have the tab that broke. Just use liquid plastic to bond it back on. If you can get a picture , it would help a bit more. grin

that happened to mine too. I chose to replace the light and had to replace the entire light. My advice is to check junkyards, because mine was brand new and cost like 680 or something like that. Toyota will not sell just the bottom piece, maybe a junkyard would though. Good Luck.
