is that because you don't have one or you just don't like them?? just asking..

^^ i dont know how it is for the gt...but for the gts, the shifting is much easier with the b&m.

the throw is shorter...

its also firmer... like everyone says it is... but IMO thats not a good thing... the gearbox is already too stiff from the factory and a firmer shifter makes misshifting easier...

plus for real racing, a shifter thats the length of our stock one is more accurate...

mine stock is not stiff at all..i can just push it into gear w/out pushing the clutch when i car idling sometime..when the car is off it's even more easy to push into gear..

of course it's easy to push into gear when the car's off...
but anyway, go with b&m, i drove my friend's gt and it felt pretty nice, it was a lot more fun, but a tiny bit stiffer imo. the stiffness might have something to with the installation for those of you guys who are arguing about that.

every shifter is stiff right after you fool with the assembly. use lithium grease (included) to lubricate all the moving parts..after a couple of weeks everything should be about as smooth as stock
