Hey guys, if I got me a Injen SRI and used this heat shield: ![[Linked Image]](https://celicahobby.com/catalog/images/engine_injen_hs3_big.jpg) Would I get the same benefit / HP gains as a CAI? Cause its winter right now and like 0-10 degrees celcius for the next 5 months.

I have the SRI and the heatshield. Looks nice, sounds great, gives you a little bump, but NOT the same as a CAI.

I agree with the above poster. The SRI looks better in my opinion than a regular intake. It fills the engine bay better. It has a great sound, but doesnt give as much power as regular CAI.

and doesn't give that pesky hydrolocking proplem
(well theres still a possabilty of hydro locking but its much smaller)

i like the rmm heatshield. blocks more. prob no realyt proformance gain but looks spiuffy. plus the rmm one woudl prob block more chance of hydrolock
