well i think you have 2 probs. first can the S/C physically fit onto your engine. it may not even line up with the stock intake manifold bolts or it may not fit under the hood. second you are gonna need an ecu piggy back or buy the PFC around 1200 bucks. honestly, im not familiar with the specs of MR2s but if it has the same engine as you which i doubt since its an older car, i dont think it will work. worth a try though if its gonna be a free S/C. hell id give it the best i got, i just think that it may not fit. hope this helps thumbsup

BTW, where are you from in LA? you should check out the Southeast Forums, lots of us Louisiana people in there thumbsup

well, first you'd need to swap out your ecu for the power fc. that will allow you to tune the car.

second you'll need a custom fabrication job done for the piping, intercooler, and s/c.

If they do a good job on the fabrication you should be able to use the stock hood like the blitz setup. theres more then enough room in there without the intake manifold.

now I don't think a stock mr2 supercharger is gonna flow much air but it'll be unique and probably more power then you have now lol so if it's free and you don't mind wasting a couple thousand dollars then by all means go for it.

i've been to new iberia several times thumbsup

good luck with the supercharger project. the first gen mr2's use a different engine than the 1zz your celica gt uses so you'd have to do something custom as mike (lucky_317) said. trd does make a supercharger for your cars ENGINE though..although it won't fit under your hood. you'll have to get your hands on a super-rare 'bubble' hood (i'll post a pic). other than that..there are no superchargers made specifically for the supercharger engine.

the power fc will set you back about $1,000. custom mounts will set you back almost that much as well. in the end you will still come out ahead because its a free supercharger..but that doesn't mean you can just plop it in there at no cost.

good luck on everything..and stay in touch with the rest of the louisiana peeps in the southeast forum rice

It is made in carbon fiber only other than that one trd had before they switched to the carbon fiber one. But yeah with a custom job you should be okay wihtout a new hood.
