i never heard two dogs humping...My head unit whistles a little bit...and it sounds pretty weird but it's just because i didn't spend time to ground it extremely well...and my power wires are right aside of my speaker wires...but i didn't feel like fixing it...maybe that's the problem you have? confused

It's called EVP. I think you need to watch white noise. Someone might be trying to contact you.

i just moved the ground to my trunk lid ground and it still went at it.. has nothing to do with the cap because when i hooked the power directly to the amp it still did it, i attached a movie file.. the first like 3 seconds you can hear the weird ass noise... the ground is directly to the body... the power is directly on the battery... i have monster cable signal wire... whats going on.. MTX's subs btw

also relisten to it from the start of the clip... you can hear this high pitch sound coming out of the sub, my cap is mounted on the right side of the box right where the right sub gets it's power... and also right by the sub it self you can kinda see it in the video.. is that bad?

could be from the RCAs being reversed or not all the way in in the back, good call on that. I tend to just assume things like that are taken care of.

From the dog humpage to the EVP analogy, I don't even know what to say haha. It looks like you're running out of options man... know of any audio experts that would look at it? The most unimaginable thing I can think of is that your ground / remote / positive wires are running too closely together. Interference can be a problem if they are not seperated properly, and that goes for throughout the entire car... but again, that's a long shot.

remote and signal wires are run on drivers side of the car, power is run on the passanger side of the car, ground in the trunk. the question is having the cap mounted to close to a sub would that cause some kind of magnetic interference

Yeah I would say it was blown but didn't you say you just got them? It seems premature to have them be blown especially two of them. Check the settings on your amp maybe? I'd still lean towards a ground problem personally.

try changing the settings on your amp as well.

When subs are blown they still make sound by the way. It sounds very similar to that actually. Same with speakers, blown speakers still make sound, may even still play music. I don't think they are blown if you just got them though. UNLESS the place that installed them reversed the polarity on the subs. THat's an option also

I was gonna say if they are wired in wrong they can blow just from that...

The wiring has not changed from how they have always been. can a CAP being on the side of the box create some kind of problem with the magnet in the subs.

also they are not even making a sound of music it just that massive sound you heard the stero was on mute when i took the video.. so is that just some weird feedback?

so i found the problem... nothing anyone thought about but people were close... the subwoofer output on the head unit was fried and giving that weird feedback. I know this because when i hooked it up to the speaker outputs on the be back of the head unit everything worked normally and the subwoofers were hitting as hard as normal.. so i am getting the head unit repaired (since it was under warranty). no music right now
