junk yard finding...
alrite yesterday i found a 01 black gt in a junk yard near my house. i have a 00 gts. the guy is asking $100 for the sunroof assembly(which is in perfect shape, i think it is the replacement glass one) and he wants $50 each for the front seats. i have leather and i don't like it, and these are black cloth, but there is snow on them, other than that they are perfect, you guys think the seats are worth it??

the car is pretty f'd up, but by the way. does anyone need any small parts or anything? smile because if someone needs something i could maybe pick it up for ya's. as long as it is something inexpensive so i don't get dicked over with parts i don't need thumbsdown, or i can give you the name of the yard. thumbsup let me know.. also the front end is totally screwed, both doors are dented and the Hood and trunk won't open (until i get down there with tools anyway). it doesnt have a rear spoiler either. well let me know!
ps, i don't check this a real lot so if you want you can im me my aim is mxsuperfly25

I'll pay you good money if you could get me the motor for the rear windshield wiper. PM me if you could get it.

Dude, you can gain a lot of profit in doing this grin thumbsup

the seats are so worth the $50, thats the cheapest i've ever seen them eek

i saw a nice blue/black mesh-cloth seats at the junkyard, and the dude told me $250 for both. not bad, but your price is way better thumbsup

ok,
BAT- there are no headlights, i think the headliner is alrite though, maybe i can get that with the sunroof.
401-the rear windshield motor, i'll check it out, do i have to get to that from the inside? probably..
10celica10- i'm guessing the hatch hook is broke, b/c it is stuck closed..i'll check it out. and the climate control piece, you mean the tab we press to switch between circulate and fresh air? that should be cake if its still there.
hombred-it is green. i'll try to grab that for ya b/c i want the console for a project, maybe to fiberglass a screen.

is there anyone that can give me some guidance to taking off the sunroof??
i'll keep everyone updated, i should be going monday or tuesday, but it is supposed to rain so i may wait til saturday. once i get down there i will get prices on everything for ya's.

-don

Dude I really need the whole climate control part. not the face but the stuff behind it. I broke mine trying to put new lights in and now the lights are out because I broke the circuit board. That would be awesome if you could get that!!

I was trying to put red caps on the bulbs. I had everything doner and when I went to snap it back in place the bord cracked from the pressure. And now the lights dont work and my ac light doesn't light up when pressed. frown

Yea. it's real easy to take out. just take out the plastic and the motor is on the left. It will take you no more than 10 minutes. All I need is the motor. I already have the blade. Thanks
