I have one exactly the same. orginal shifter knob and all. How did you get the boot to stay up flush with the knob?? the car came with the boot 1-2" below the knob, exposing the shaft. (I don't want people gazing at it!!) it looks like something has been cut or the short shift has a smaller diameter.
