Bypass on generation 1?
Is it true that we can't install a bypass on generation 1 AEM CAI. Can someone clear this up for me please??? I just bought that AEM Cold Air Intake for $140 from a overstock websites. What a pity!!

yep... its true - the piping is bent where you are expected to put the bypass vaulve at so it's effective. the new Intake has a stright area where the vaulve should be installed.

i heard that one the 2003 celicas there is already something there to avoid hydrolocking

no bypass valve. not too worried about it. dosen't rain too much here.
