What size socket wrench do I need to open the engine cover on my 03 GT, I swear I've tried every set in the garage and none of them worked.

they should be either 10mm or 24mm

I can't recall off the top of my head.

are you using MM or Standar, mm is wen you see the number followed by a mm, if you have standar then you see like 1/2 or 3/9 shit like that, buy a set that has mm

almost everything on our cars is 10mm...


if you are using standard... stop... and go buy a metric wrench and ratchet set.

Its METRIC! If you use standard sockets you will strip the shit out of your MM bolts on the celica.

can't recall anything thats a 24 mm. the biggest you'll need to go for most things on the celica is a 19mm.

the crank pulley bolt is a 19mm...

mostly you'll need 10mm, 12mm, 14mm on a few rare things you'll need 17mm and 19mm.

I REMEMBER! The manual tranny gear oil drain bolt. That's 24mm
