Why buy that, just a performance restriction. Cat's kill airflow coming from engine because it stalls the process by warming the exhaust fumes to kill pollutants.

i am confused on whats going on here, but if you are not going 3" then the stock cat is not very restrictive, if you are totally removing the cat look for 1 hp gain and and you can have any muffler shop fabricate a pipe in its place

actually no none will fab a pipe in there because its illegal and shops will get fined jsut keep it unless your going turbo it useless to remove it there are more restrictive arts in your exhaust then the cat not to mention its a pretty good fine if your caught

i know in certain states it is not a requirement to have one-i think florida is one of those states but in pa yes we will not pass inspection without one and there are heavy fines, and i did think i heard that it is true that having a cat is a federal law and shops arent allowed to remove it but there are some that will if you can pay up

You might get some CEL's to if you take the cat off. Your O2 Sensor will go nuts trying to correct your fuel to air ratio too. Also you ECU will reconize that the cat is not working and then most likley throw a CEL!
