what is the difference betweeen them? which one is better? any one got pics of the 2nd gen one

2nd gen is better.

i think fitment issues where corrected and performance was improved. also maybe the chances of getting CELs slimmed down thumbsup

but its always better to get the updated version of anything (most anything) thumbsup

better chances of hydrolock with gen 2. but gen 2 is definitely better then gen 1

haha lol, i just installed my AEM CAI about 3 days ago and didn't get no damn check engine light or nothing. That is what happens when you DIY.

yeah..i bought an ebay CAI for a friend..and we installed it..last week..he hasnet gotten a CEL since. The ebay is just like the 1sy gen AEM.thumbsup

always better to go the diy route...haha unless you have no clue what you're doing of course thumbsup

we did an sri (even easier than cai) on one of my buddy's car a couple of weeks ago..everything went super-smooth and no problems. used injen for the sri.

i have a 1st gen AEM CAI. cel hasnt gone on-- and i had it for a couple months now. great gains from the beginning... loud and lots of power.
