hey wussup guys? i put in my tanabe front strut bar today and about the battery tie down, i understand that most of the people who bought this bar had to modifiy the tie down by shaving the part of the tie down off. however, all i had to do was to shave down a little of the upper long screw to make clearance. i bought the hypermotive tie down but it didnt fit b/c i have the smaller battery. but in this pic, the apr strut bar is installed without the apr battery tie down but it seems as if only the bottom nut was screwed in, and the top screw was just left hanging. my question is that if this is safe and if the battery would move around? look closely at this picture, this is my APR flex control bar, yes i did shave the stock battery tie down and i added a small rubber piece to hold the tie down in place, it will still hold the battery...

you can clearly see that both bolts and nuts are used for this install...

by the way... I didnt modify anything for this install... I just used the factory battery tie-down and all bolts and nuts as they came directly from the factory... I just moved the battery to a position where I could tighten BOTH nuts the make everything secure and free from touching the strut bar thumbsup
