dunno what speed i was crusing at the on the interstate today but for some reason i decided to downshift to 3rd. it was amazing cause i landed what seemed to be a perfect shift. after the shift the rpms went to around the exact rpm (like 6300)lift kicks in. it landed not before or after 6300 but right on the moeny and it was awesome. anybody know what the exact speed has to be to make this happen again?

I'm not sure what youre asking. Lift kicks on at 6200 rpms. I dunno off hand what the speed is cause its not important to know.

ya need to factor in tire size and rpm, just plug in all the Celica gearing ratios and calculate it if you want

Yeah...there's nothing like "Downshift Lift"...

First day I had my Celi I was cruising about 75 in 5th...dropped it down into 3rd and I felt some g's for sure!! It felt like the g-spot for the Celi!!!! grin

hey do you get more speed when you down shift by just dropping the clutch completely, or sliping the clutch a little ?

on stock tires, lift engages at...

1 = 31
2 = 48
3 = 66
4 = 84
5 = 107
6 = 135

Hope that helps...
