i've been trying to find the compartment for the jack and since mine didnt come with one i dont know exactly where it's at. i found a compartment on the driver side in the trunk but i am not sure if that's it. can somebody tell me where it's at?

You have to twist the jack so that it will lower. The jack is being held just by raising it. So twist so it will lower and then you can get it out.
