Ahrite, I have a question that I really need the answer to.
I have 2x TRD license plate frame on my car. And I have just noticed that the rear one is starting to show some sign of rust spots. I used to have just a regular metal or whatever that material is on my older GT and that one became rusty as hell.
I was wondering what kind of things I can do to prevent this from happening. Any kind of spray or something?
Also, is there a way for me to clean the rust away?

Steel wool will clean it right up. But make sure you wash the wool off of it, or it will create more rust.

Ahrite, will get me some steel wool from Home Depot tomorrow. So wash it first then rub the rusted part correct?

That was what I was looking for, thanks Isaac.
So I would just use that or would I need to use the steel wool with it?

HOLY CRAP!!!
Isaac, thanks for the info on that product. Went out and got it today, used it on the license plates and it works like a freaking charm. At first I was super skeptical but after a few seconds, those rusts dissapeared in front of my very eyes. Also went and did my stock exhaust and it is bling blingin. Went ahead and did my somewhat rusted pliers and etc.
Great product for $5 bucks!!!
