How can i change the lighting behind the AC controls the easiest way?
Can I paint the bulbs with clear blue paint? and take off the old covers or paint? Cause idk what it looks like behind it...
i don't want to do it the way darren did it...but if I have to resort to that I will...
I wanna know tonight because tomorrow I will make the trip for supplies.
Thanks guys! thumbsup grin

I think you should try to paint them blue. They sell paint for glass and ceramics that's transparent at craft stores. I think you experiment on an incandescent lightbulb first to make sure it makes the color you want and stands up to a little heat. I'm not sure how hot those little bulbs get. Maybe you should get a few different paints and try different spots on the same bulb.
ecelica user plkachiu has been considering replacing the bulbs with blue LEDS. Like everything else in the car, these bulbs run on 12V, so you need a resistor in series to limit the current. 800 ohms should be good depending on the LEDs ratings. Use Ohm's law to calculate the correct resistance.
