CAI gives more horsepower than SRI but CAI is more vulnerable to hydrolocking since its so low to the ground.

water in the engine is a big no-no. if you get the AEM CAI and the by-pass valve there is still a chance of hydrolocking.

even with the short-ram intake, you're still vulnerable to hydrolocking. this also goes with the stock intake.

its almost impossible to do it with both, who would wanna drive through 6" of water to begin with. Just use common sense, if theres deep water over the road dont drive there

they're ABOUT the same. cai is stronger. the shortram is more for looks and ease of install. with the cai you have to take the front bumper off and blah blah.. but its worth it.

htere are a bunch of threads you can serch aobut. prettymuch ifn you want proformance and you are nto goign to drive in large puddles get CIA. If you want looks are great soudns but little gains get short ram. I have shorty ram and i love it. sounds awsome.
