I am powering 2 15" mtx subs by two rockford fosgate amps. I'm not to sure what gauge wire to purchase. Any ideas?
My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

What size is the amp? That's where it will matter. Anything that is 500 to 1000 watts will need 4 gauge wire.

the amps are def under 1000 watts. However, the only distrubution blocks i can find are where the 4 gauge goes in and (2) 8 gauge wires come out to each amp. Is that what I need?

8 gauge will handle that easy, hell you could run 10 and 12 no problem. I'm assuming your talking about the power line to the amps

yea, that will work. You could probably run 8gauge and be fine. since it such a short distance. The length of the 8gauge will be like 1ft i am assuming. and that is fine. but the 4 gauge is good so if you decide to get a bigger amp, it will handle it. go for it
