TRD

DC Sports

Hot Shot

TPR (Hopefully)

Those are the only ones I know...

TRD (approx - $900) Not worth it IMO. gains of 1-3 whp

DC sports (approx - $250) worth it if you just want an aftermarket header. gains of 1-2 whp

Trial (approx - $800) This is a gamble. You'll either lose hp or gain as much as 5. majority lose power or gain 1-3 hp

Hot shot does not make a GTS header

TPR will be coming out with the first race header hopefully sometime this year.

I know it's more info then you wanted but it's better to make an informed decision wink

Some headers are not street legal, BTW. Most (save for the DC) are not carb approved, and are considered race-only parts.

Those headers with the theta pipe (that little metal divider plate at the flange) are street legal (Trial, DC and TRD have the theta pipe)

if it has dual runners going to the flange, it will not be street legal; the Theta pipe is what allows the catalytic convertor to heat up enough to be effective. If the Theta pipe is missing and it's just dumping into the cat pipe, the cat will not heat up enough and your cat will clog or you may very well fail emissions.

This is also why the factory header was designed with that divider plate at the flange.

Hotshot does make good headers, so if you own, or know someone who owns a GT, and are looking for a header, I'd recommend the hotshot. Not for GTS though, like others have said already.

I believe Midnight Performance also designed a header, but it was never marketed. the prototype went up for sale on e-bay not too long ago.

And TPR swears they will make this header, that's the one I will probably get, assuming it gets released eventually and it won't make my car fail emissions (which is entirely doable, since I live in Illinois)

brashboy is a $2500 header that has never been proven to have gains. you could buy a turbo with a few pennies more. thumbsup

and why you upgrading the injectors? even in lift and maxed tuning they arent more then 80% capacity.

if you absolutely feel the need to use bigger injectors then you should get some off a 2003 gts. they're like 15cc or so bigger then the 2000-2002. if you need more then that there's something wrong in your tuning most likely.
