alright...most of you saw my other thread about how bad I needed a drop... I was talking to some of he nopi guys(being as it is right down the street from me), and they have skunk2 SPRINGS which drop the celica 2.25" in the front, and 2.5" in the rear...kinda seems to low to me...what do you guys think...I have 17" ADR visions, and I'm gonna drop it with KYB AGX's and goldlines...they are about the same price, and I trust skunk 2 a litle more

Don't go that low man. It would take the pleasure out of driving your car because you do not want to jack up the front lip and etc.

I have Goldline springs 1.75" drop ...

I LOVE the look ... but believe me, it's a pain in the neck!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty much everywhere I go, I scratch my front, because it's too low (and I dont have a KIT). I have to go in sideways and really slow, and I can avoid it sometimes.
Even going into my driveway I scratch frown

Sure low cars look nice ... but do you really want to hear that "scratching" sound every time you go into a driveway/parking lot? (makes me want to cry everytime i hear it). If I could do it all over again ... I would NOT go that low. Try to stick to something like 1.4" perhaps.

this is absolutely true!!!

And for this very reason is why my car is never driven when I have the full R2 kit installed... cannot enter/exit ANY driveways... even at extreme angles

What the hell Steve? You're the one who recomended coilovers to me a long time ago. That's the reason I bought the TRD coilovers. Why would you want springs?

any drop past 2.25" will harm your handling and be uncomfortable.

wooo...haha i hope that engagement ring is part of the wedding ring as well (you know how they do those dual or triple wedding rings that use the engagment ring as well)...$2,000 is exactly super expensive for a ring..but too expensive to disregard in a couple of years when your married, in my opinion

and oh..those springs are too low for my tastes. nothing lower than 2"

2k is actually a good price for an engagement rings. So are you saying that's too much, Caleb...and not worth it??

ANYWAY...if you want a girls opinion. Getting engaged is more important than dropping your car. If you want to marry this girl and have already thought about it and had her pick out a ring, then you should do it. NEVER put your car before your girl. thumbsdown

yeah the ring unfortunately has to cost more than the mods...downside to spending a lot on your car! rofl
