Mirror streaks

I seem to get little black streaks from my Mirrors after the rain storms. Its like 3 or four black streaks running down to the ground. Anyone else have this problem. It really shows up on white. I was thinking about just taking off the Mirror and giving it a good scrubbing. Do you think this will work?

its just road dust collecting between the door and Mirror. i get it all the time. just hose it off and all the dirt should come out. if worse comes to worse, you can take it apart and clean it, but it will just collect more dust later..

usually when i wash my car (mine's white too) i give it a good rinse, then soap her up then another good rinse, and that takes care of all the dirt streaks. thumbsup

So its not anything wrong with my Mirror. Its just built up dust. Damn California and its shitty black dirt coatings. Ive never had to upkeep a car this much. If I want it looking good I have to wash it like once a week.
