Anyone know of a site or anything that will show me how to repair, repaint and reinforce my front body kit please post. As U can see, after two years of miles and miles of road damage, rain, sleet, and snow, this is what my body kit looks like. Its not the best looking anymore. I put by stock bumper back on for the time being. I want to start doing my bodywork from now on so I thought I'll start with my front bumper. If U know how to do it yourself (bodykit) Please post. Oh, and one other thing, I NEED PICTURES... I need to be able to see and understanding what to do. Thaks a lot...

On both ends where the bolts hold on to the fender the kit broke off from the impact of the accident...

Take a look at all of the rock chops and paint cracks recieved from driving back and forth from chicago to Oklahoma... I took a can of red spraypaint to it so it won't look as bad with all of the white chip marks in it.

That's not that bad actually. I'm sure you can fix it yourself but you'll need to strip the paint, bondo, fibreglass, maybe more fibreglass, sand, primer, paint. That's a lot of work. I'm sure someone can instruct you on how. That's all I know what you probably need to do.

you can fix the corners with duramix where the bolts attach, just roughen the back side with 80 grit and spread your duramix over the back to hold it, then on the front, after the duramix has set up, roughen it with some 80 grit or grind it with a bullet grinder to give the fiberfill something to bite to, finally sand it to match the rest of the bumper. since it's such a high stress area, it'll eventually crack again around there. the only way to keep that from happening is to not run into anything with fiberglass, cracks in any other area can usually be ground out and filled with fiberfill then sanded down to match the rest. as for small paint chips and gouges, just use dolphin glaze or another body filler if you don't want to have to sand it back down to the gel coat. just remember to roughen up the surface first.

the area around the headlight on the passenger side can be ground out with a bullet grinder and filled with fiberfill. for all the rock chips, i'd say just get plenty of sand paper and wet sand the hell out of it till it's close to being smooth, prime it and wet sand again, and repeat until it's smooth. as for preventing the rock chips, just try driving way back from other drivers and cover large panels with clear vinyl like they do on newer cars.
