What kinda Gas Mileage does everyone get around here? Running on premium octane I usually get no less than 440 miles to the tank. That was a huge factor in my decision to get a GT instead of a GTS. I don't have any gas money as it is. Not to mention I was driving my Explorer for 200 miles every 25 dollars. I'm going to eventually get a power-FC, and a couple other things done, so I'm wondering what to expect. Or I might just go ahead and get the GTS after college is over.

If you have some significant reasons as to why you have that gas mileage, post what did it

our gas tanks are what? 14.5 gallons?

My gauge goes down to empty at like 11 gallons...cuz today the fuel light went off and i filled it up and it stopped at like 11.5 gallons or something...i don't get it! Anyway with all my driving up and down these country hills i normally get 24-26mpg. Driving on a highway i get about 30...but 99% of my driving is winding, hilly back roads and such.

My manual 2000 Celica GT at the most, got 422 miles on highway driving. Lately, it's been about 375 on a full tank, city and highway. I don't know if having 215/40/17 wheels and tires give you less gas mileage. I thought that adding an exhaust system was suppose to give you more miles per gallon, like 2-3 extra miles per gallon. Also, my low fuel light comes on, I drive until there are no more fuel bars, go and fill the tank, and find that it topped off at 14 gallons, so my fuel tank fuel meter might be off. I don't know...
