Celica Forums General Discussion General heard a pop and drives like crap.

Ok, so i was driving my 93 celica and i went through a light and heard the underside of the car hit the ground and it sounded like it banged pretty hard. Well, as soon as i was through the light it felt like the passanger side wheel was really shaky and so i drove it to the next parking lot and it started getting worse. It started like grinding and shaking everytime i pushed the gas. so i tried to drive it to the merchants just like 2 miles up the street and i couldnt make it. I was driving it slowly and it was just too messed up to drive, so it got towed. Well, when i was seeing what was wrong with it, this metal piece was lying on the ground and was covered with grease. I dont have a picture of it so i will describe it. Its about the size of the circle when you take the tip of your pointer finger and make a circle by touching the tip of your thumb. Its about 1/2" thick on the ring. I think the bearings in the hub are all messed up, since that was the last thing giving me problems that i fixed. It stayed fixed for like a year and a half but i dont know. what does anyone else thing. You think i need a new half shaft?
