wait wait wait, don't order it

i have it and it doesn't fit too well, there's a gap at the top and where they predrilled the holes doesn't relate to anything behind it to hold it up to frown

but it fits 2000-2004

well, i don't know of ANY other who makes triple gauge pods for our celica frown
so what i did, was use the autometer dual gauge pod, then bought another gauge pod to mount to my dash somewhere thumbsup
I have three AC Autotechnic gauges, so i bought AC Autotechnic's new aluminum gauge pods thumbsup
just find something you like

one more question here. When I connect the gauges to the battery ive seen them on some cars but forget what there called where it hooks everything up to the negative or postive side of the battery on the terminal and makes it look more organized instead of all the wires just put on the negative or positive, anyone know what im talking about? They also use them when connecting a system to the battery to make it look nice...Thanks grin

Wait! I purchased one from Gaugepods.com and the fitment isn't bad. I didn't have any problem with the corners like Billy. My problem is that it's a bit bulkier in the center but nothing that I can't live with, doesn't look that bad. I'll try to post some pics later...

don't connect to the battery
there's no need to, it just gives you more hassle to run wires through the firewall and have them all over your engine bay...

there are a shitload of wires to tap into under your drivers side dash, that's where i did mine.
it's very simple. half the time, you may have a connector not connected to anything that is very useful with gauges grin

yea, mine fit at the bottom and going through the middle, but at the top it didn't sit flush with the car at all and there was no way of making it flush.

voltmeter just needs a constant 12v source aka a power wire to something in the interior, you just find a wire that turns on when you turn the car on ACC.

There are wires behind you're gauge that you can tap and ran you ground wire to the cig.

You could run the voltmeter to another constant 12volt source in the car but you won't get a true reading. You're getting the voltage reading after it passes through the multiple things that the battery supplies power to. So it is best to go right to the battery for that one gauge. After all the voltage reading you want is the actual battery voltage, right?

it's still accurate, either way, once you see it go down you know your battery is going kaput rofl

and running everything to the cig is a hassle, there are tons of wires right there under the drivers side dash - make it easy.

But it is always better to go to the source if you know what I mean. The voltage WILL be diminished by the fact of you getting your reading from elsewhere other than the source. deal

so how much should the battery say?
mine says 14 when i drive and stays consistant at 13 point something, that's what you usually get from the battery.
not to say you're wrong, but you can do EITHER one, it's still going to read it either way and you'll know if you're not getting the right amount of power to the eletrical stuff.
