Same problem here also. Usually the squeaking goes away after the car warms up. But these last two days the squeaking has been continuous until I turn the car off. Makes the car sound like crap. I hate it.
I figure I will take it to Toyota dealer where I bought it. Then when I get there I will tell them the problem. Then they will turn the car on and the squeaking will be gone. Since proplems usually always go away and can't be recreated once you get to the service department.
yea same problem here it never makes the noise you want when you want someone to hear it, its been raining reallie hard here in frisko, so its hella loud! n i dont wanna sound like an dumbass, but where would these belts be located
Took my car in to Penske Toyota this morning in Cerritos, where I bought the car. I dropped the car off at 8:40am. I told the service advisor about the engine squeal. They took it in and 2 hours later it was done. They replaced the belt. Said it was glazed and cracked and that was causing the squeal.
