I recently got kaminari front and rear w/ wings west sides. I went to bodyshop for an estimate for installing and painting my bodykit. He looked the kit over to see how much work will be involved. The shop's estimate came to 1375, thats dollars. I bout shit my pants, when people here are like 500 to 600 max. Not many body shops in Nebraska so what should I do 1)keep looking or 2)bite the bullet and pay the man.

that's a bit high. you should be looking at 1000 tops to do it all unless they quoted you a price with blending, b/c it's around 1800 to do the complete exterior of your car at my friend's shop.

^^^and time. fuck having to pay someone install a kit for you. thats something you should take pride in doing. leave the painting to them which would serious drop the total price thumbsup

If I were you I would spend the money to have it blended. If you give them the parts to paint and you get them home and install them, the paint could be of a shade or so off. Having it bleded would assure you that it would match the rest of the car. But, it is more $ because you are basically repainting the whole car.
