I had an o.e.m carbon fiber hood. 2 actually one was 1 piece with a beautiful bottom and the other one was 2 piece with edges that were horrible. Consider buying a good quality hood with roll edges such as v.i.s or oe tuning those usually have perfect weaves and u.v. coating to rid from fading. thumbsup

Yea this guy is selling them on ebay for the celica here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33646&item=2427829860

and for 95 more dollars you can get the red carbon fiber. I was just wondering if the hood would go with my black red them...or would the hood make for to much red?

You can also pearl coat your hood if you want it to color match your car. I've seen some pretty awesome hoods with just a beautiful transperant pearl.

Here's a pic of my friends Carbon Fiber Dinan valve cover with a green pearl and sweet clearcoat.

uh idk if that is a red carbon fiber hood...I think it's the reflection of the red in the car making it appear red.

isaac don't you ever use woods when you reply?
do you have a red Carbon Fiber hood or not?
cause it still looks like red reflection.
or were you comparing your black carbon fiber hood to the real red Carbon Fiber or something?

you're CRAZY! thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

In a lot of professional racing events in japan, use RED or BLUE carbon fiber wings, hoods and other automotive bodyparts because they have less reflection than black Carbon Fiber and they draw less/hold less heat than their black counterparts.

PLUS - black doesnt show up well on camera... this is why you see mostly photographs of brightly colored cars.. and hardly find photos of black vehicles wave
