I have the squeky belt issue and was wondering how hard it is to do by yourself. I got a quote from my local toyota dealer and they wanted 182 for labor on top of the 401 for parts. When i was changing my lift bolts it looked pretty tight in the belt area as far as being able to get in and fix it myself. What should I do? Has anyone had this done at a shop for cheaper?

How many miles do you have? I got mine done like last week for free. I believe if you have under 36000 miles its covered under warranty. Even if its not covered by the warranty that are some ridiculous prices they gave you to change the belt. Are you sure its not your timing belt you are talking about?
