Differences between AEM Cold Air Intake Gen 1 & Gen 2

the difference between the generation 1 & 2 is that Gen.1 cannot be used with the air bypass valve and it is only for manual transmission. Gen.2 CAN be used with the bypass valve and due to minor "plumbing" changes it can be for auto or manual. otherwise, performance is the same

AEM v2 is a Short Ram Intake. You are talking about the gen1 and gen2 CAI.
