- if so ... what is the price going to be?
- when and where can i get it?
- how is production going on the TPR header? (cant wait for that one!)
- when will the site be up for TPR?

i think that is it. thanks for any info. looking forward to full production! thumbsup grin

tpr has a sri but you should invest in a cai b/c the cai can be converted in to a sri. I think the price of a sri is 150 and cai 200 (that is with shipping included). The website has been down for a little bit. The owner of tpr is once again having problems with his shop. Its been like 7 months and we still dont have our intake. Its really getting out of hand. Your going to have to wait awhile to get one, even though he claims that the new shop is going to be faster. As far as the tpr header goes, it seems like its going to be very good. However, once again, he needs to find a decent shop that will acutally make his products.

TPR website - He's re-designing it. (looks much better wink )

I would suggest you get the CAI cause it converts to a short ram very easily when it's rainy season. thumbsup

Yes, there was MAJOR problems with the shop he had. Yes, the new shop should be MUCH faster.

The header will probably NOT be the next mod he releases. However the one that may come out first will be VERY exciting and worth the wait. As soon as the testing is done everyone will know more about the new stuff coming out.

as with any small business 1 snag with a bad shop can have a big effect on deadlines so ya just gotta be patient. He can't legally discuss exactly what is goin on yet but when he can the whole story Will be posted. thumbsup

I talk with tpr a lot cause I'm waiting for his stuff too lol and this is what I know so far. cool

^^^^ the wait wont be much longer. thumbsup

for the CAI - SRI conversion you simply undo the bottom portion of the CAI. it's in 2 pieces. There's no 2nd kit to buy. For the 1 price you get the option of doing both thumbsup thumbsup

actually, Chris (Easy_C) would be happy if you paid now because it will help him with the money involved in the shop transition, thus getting your parts to you quicker.

AMEN!!!!

Heres the update on the situation. I had to start from scratch with a new shop. I have piping for 25 exhausts done and polished. I'm having Magnaflow custom make the mufflers. The flanges are ordered. Theres a lil snag with the tips.

My old shop never told me that the piping only accounted for a 6" tip. Well, the tip they chose was 8" so I'm considering a couple different styles of tips. But i have a couple weeks to decide while the mufflers are being produced.

I already have the plans for a couple more products. I am gonna speak with my shop again during the middle of this week to see what kind of deadlines I'm looking at.

Right now the exhausts should be out of my hands (for those that ordered) by the end of this month. I'll have a few left over to ship immediately as I did order extra.

More products should be out soon enough. The new shop I am using is not a fraud and is an actual shop. They are also well motivated and driven. Now its just a matter of recovering the losses from the other shop. So any orders are greatly appreciated!!! www.tuningprecisionracing.com [tuningprecisionracing.com] is back up and running! Ignore the general text i havent fully customized the shopping portion yet.

happy belated holidays!

1) It is a new shop now, so I doubt he will take very long. They want business too ya know smile

2) See attached picture

3) The plans for the race header are already laid out. I am more worried about getting the intakes and exhausts done first tho. smile

I'm also curious about something. Like your business partners posted remarks on anther website about our community over here. Easy_C, I have no hard feelings with you, but I wonder how the members around here are going to react to those comments if they stumble across them, and how that will affect TPR.

lol there are no business associates. Lol i have made it clear on multiple posts on that board that I am the only one representing TPR. I don't have any partners or anything. just me smile

But people do realize i dont control anyone else because of this. If they make bad remarks so be it. I remain neutral as you read.

i have to give you a lot of credit for starting this business out on your own and for picking such a good car to start out making parts for, who knows maybe if it all works out someday tpr will be included in all the top names out there so just stay on the ball with getting all your products made and once they are there to be ordered you will see that you have the celica communitys full support but we wanna make sure we can get the prouct once we pay for it, anyway good luck with the new shop.

yup, certain individuals like to pretend to be cool by plastering the TPR logo all over their posts and talking about it every 5 seconds. Hard to tell they are posers for people who don't know lol thumbsup
