weird cheap noise, help
on any gear, especially on first gear, when im launching, there is this cheap sounding noise from the engine bay coming. i can only hear the sound between around 1000rpm and 1500rpm only. the best way to explain the noise is it makes the car look and sound real cheap. wut the hell is the problem? someone told me its the axle, but the mechanic said its not eventhough he didnt hear the noise well. anyone have the same problem? it kinda sounds like the engine is knockin, but it wouldnt knock at early rpms like that.
PLZ HELP, its pissin me off

Is it like a chirping noise like a cricket makes, but really fast? Cuz mine sounds like that when it boggs down low and makes the clutch chatter. And why would you be launching at 1000-1500 rpm's? Do you mean just when driving the car from a stop? I would just say give it a little more gas on your startoff's. maybe that might help.

ok guys i meant when launching from a dead stop, when the revs pass 1500rpm, theres this noise between 1000-1500rpm, it is something like a cricket noise yea, it sounds sort of like engine knocks, but its not a metal to metal noise though.
plz dont say launch at a higher rpm, ur always gonna go through 1000-1500rpm if ur launchin on first gear while drivin normal.

You gotta get to round 2000 rpm before you start lettin go of the clutch. That chricket noise is your car about to stall. 50% sure thats the problem.

I might have the same problem as you but is not rattling or chriping is like metal to metal. Shit I hope is not harm to the engine frown
