I need a replacement filter for my CAI. I already have the original filter for my CAI cleaned and oiled and the one on my CAI that's a knock off Apexi (identical to the picts of that filter).
The Apexi wannabe on my CAI is obviously clogged with crap and cleaning that filter isn't possible (it's a cheap throw away).
My problem is I like the cheap filter better than the original K&N and I like to have 2 filters so there is no down time between cleanings.
Obviously Apexi would be the obvious choose for many reasons, but I don't know about spending close to $100 on their filter.
My other chooses are from K&N. The RR-2802 or the XStream. I can't find the information on the XStream for our dimensions and fit after I had it, but I will look and dig it up again.
I was just wondering what are your thoughts about getting different filters, which one would you want, and what about the choices I am giving including Apexi.

Thanks for your response, but I think I'm going with Apexi. I hope I can make it fit without modifications without ordering from outside the US for Injen's CAI sizes.
Who knows how I feel tomorrow on this. I might change my mind again as I did for the past month or so.
