ok if i get a sri or cai do i still have the intake butterfly? is it good to remove them on a GT Auto?

No, the aftermarket intakes replace the butterfly and the rest of the airbox. Yes, it's a good mod if you want you car to be a little bit louder.

it doesnt do anything to performace.. but yea it does make it louder i think

so the cai replaces the super black stock air box's butterfly valve? how loud is it?
