i got a new leak coming from the exhaust manifold. Took it in, they said they need time, I will take it back in on tuesday or wednesday. They have to pull the thing off. I also may have them do the syhchros in the tranny too!! Should I have a new clutch put in at the same time. Mine had 16,000 miles on it, its a trd, i had it put in last year at this time. The warranty should cover everything but the parts for the clutch. Any ideas of what the sound is? Gasket, crack? Is 16,000 miles still new for a trd clutch? The labor would be free if so. I might look into an act this time though. Any input would be great thanks!!

why would you need the synchro's in the tranny done? My dad used to have an '86 4Runner and the synchro's never went out for 14 years.

FYI: The clutch will be the only thing covered for the powertrain warranty.
