i have a 4 x 100 watt kenwood amp with 2x100 rms speakers and a subwoofer xplod with 350 rms but i don't hear the woofer from the outside of the car , inside it's perfect but the bass you nearly hear from the outside i think many of you have that problem ? is it because the celica has a big trunk or?

don't know what to do get a bigger sub or bigger amp or maybe smaller my trunk confused

(sorry for my english)

switch out the xplod for something nice and you will hear that nice bass from the outside. When looking for a sub, look for the sensitivity rate. Our cars are hatchbacks and are way louder than cars with trunks so it's not the celica. It doesn't really matter what size subs either. Just make sure you invest in something nice. Hope that helps. thumbsup

I agree... but if you want you can go bigger subs with more power. Means new subs, amp, and probably enclosure. Then with louder bass you will most likely need dynamat to stop the rattles. My personal opinion is if it sounds good now why invest the money just to make it loud for others.

Then they have no idea what a nice system is. I hate people that drive around with all bass and no clarity. But it's up to you.

get a new set up. xplod subs are pretty bad. and that kenwood amp is not nearly as powerfull as it says. Get some new Rockford stuff. They are pretty decent. not top of the line but better than what you have.
