yeah um there are these bolt removers. they basically have a sharp directional (counter-clockwise) fins that bite into the bolt head and remove them. forgot what company makes them though.

They have them at Sears I know. But what bolt is it becasue that will determine if you can drill it out or not. If it is something internal then it cant be drilled out because the metal shavings will go in the engine. So what bolt is it??

Put sandpaper over the bolt rough side down, then the ratchet on top of that. The sandpaper will give you grip on the bolt.

try a needle nose vice grip. i had to use that when the bolt for my valve cover striped out. If you can get a drill under there, an easy out(basically a reverse threaded dril bit that bites the head inside and allows it to be loosened) they will have them at any hardware store.

i know it's kind of a lame suggestion, but it will work. Get one of those gator grip socket things. It'll get that out.

i wouldve said use a vise grip but looking at that next picture youll probably have to use like a smaller 12point socket and hammer it in, thats my only guess

the only real hold you have is the top where it still makes a bit of a point. The bottom is like a fucking circle! I thought the gator could get that, but I guess not...

that's a dremel. Think of it like a mini sander or mini saw.

ahh now we're getting somewhere. If you use the dremel and can't get an even size for a socket, THEN the gator grip will have some edges to cling onto! Watch the sparks from the dremel! Not sure how close that bolt is to your fuel or oil, can't exactly place where it's located from your pic.

OK, here's a wild-ass idea. Heat the head with a propane torch to make the metal more malleable. Then while its still hot, pound a smaller socket onto it. Wait for it to cool some, then try twisting it off.

Or just take it to a shop.
