Help with TWM Shortshifter

I am installing my shortshifter and when i am removing the bolts i got 3/4 of them. One of them isnt coming off b/c if i turn the racehet it catches it, then lets go. I think the tread is wearing away. how can i fix this?cry

so when ever i turn the rachet the nut doesnt move, only the rachet does. I do not mean the inside thread either, i mean the actual nut

Are you sure you are using the right size socket?

When a nut was stripped that I was trying to remove I put a piece of sand paper over the bolt with rough side down over the bolt. It gave better grip on the bolt/nut.

use a vice grip or robogrip...
