hey i was wondering if there is a way to turn on your parking lights (mine are nice blue color) after releasing the handbrake because the only way i figured out how to do it is turn of the car and keep handbrake up

shoudl be able to jsut tunr the light switch on left stock of steering wheel. thats what mien does. with car on, off, break on off ect. shoudl nto matter. amybe i am not understanding it right but that seems ot work for me. goodluck. PS sorry for bad typing, in a hurry

yeah im not sure what you mean but when you turn on your lights the first click is parking lights and second is low beams

I think you'll have to disable your DRL's and auto-on headlights (there's a guide in the Installs section, I believe).
Otherwise, when you release the handbrake when the car is on, the headlights or DRL's will kick on (depending on lighting conditions, as sensed by your car). And that feature will also override where you have your light set. So anyway, disabling the DRL/Auto-on will allow you to do this, I believe. =)

ooh yea i deff misread your thread. ArumnDark is completely right,. fallow one of the dissable DRL installs to do it. thats the only way you can. i just turn off the car and put the brake on to do mine.

yea arumndark understood me because when i release my handbrake drls turn on and override my park lights. i dono maybe i wil disable my drl's disabling the DRL is just one simple snip of the wire - though make sure you cut the wire and can still reconnect the two pieces. the only way to have full control over the headlights is to disable the DRL. (fog lights are a different subject) what year celica do you have? for the 2000-2002 celicas, the wiring should be the same as the one in the guideline (for both the gt and gts) (it worked for me)
