Is there a way to put parking lights on after letting of handbra
hey i was wondering if there is a way to turn on your parking lights (mine are nice blue color) after releasing the handbrake because the only way i figured out how to do it is turn of the car and keep handbrake up

I think you'll have to disable your DRL's and auto-on headlights (there's a guide in the Installs section, I believe).

Otherwise, when you release the handbrake when the car is on, the headlights or DRL's will kick on (depending on lighting conditions, as sensed by your car). And that feature will also override where you have your light set. So anyway, disabling the DRL/Auto-on will allow you to do this, I believe. =)

ooh yea i deff misread your thread. ArumnDark is completely right,. fallow one of the dissable DRL installs to do it. thats the only way you can. i just turn off the car and put the brake on to do mine.

disabling the DRL is just one simple snip of the wire - though make sure you cut the wire and can still reconnect the two pieces.

the only way to have full control over the headlights is to disable the DRL. (fog lights are a different subject)

thumbsup

what year celica do you have? for the 2000-2002 celicas, the wiring should be the same as the one in the guideline (for both the gt and gts) (it worked for me) thumbsup thumbsup
