Monkey Wrench valves and springs are good. I was going to build a spare head up also but decided its not really worth my effort because of the way the 2zz reacts to NA mods. I have a spare cylinder head if you need one PM me if you want details.

yes I mean the engine doesnt get enough power form the mods that are thrown on it, I am jsut so used to getting huge amounts of gains from my former DSM cars that this is not amusing to me anymore to a point where I dont even want to waste 1 minute of my time with it anymore. I know my DSM cars were Turbocharged and the Celi isnt but it still doesnt justify for how well other cars react to NA mods for example Honda. it is a breeze getting 20-40HP on Honda than it is compared to the Celi.

I'm in the middle of doin mine right now. it's takin awhile cause I'm poor and I'm doing it right. once its done I'll be posting flow bench reports of both before and after. the one in my car is 100% stock still. the new one is gonna be P&P, and have new valves/springs from mwr. ( I already have them but they arent in it yet) I should also have a few more goodies to share sometime in the very begining of next year.

the 2zz can get more gains thn you think. it just needs good products done right. thumbsup thumbsup

I'm interested in NA build up also. I have a GT but someday when this engine is dyin on me i'd like to rebuild it and make it rev to 8500 RPM with a GTS tranny in it. anyone know how i could do this?

^^ yes, you would need a few things. You'd also need cams. I dont think the GT would make power that high on its own. Might be mmore worth while to start getting and building a 2zz now while you're waiting for your car to die lol

then you'll want to start getting it ready to get that auto tranny out. OR ditch your car completely and just buy a 6spd gts lol you'll save money in the long run thumbsup

If from what I hear TPR is going to be making some head parts that will help the 2zz become a better flowing head and maybe a new cam shaft.

yeah to just skip the whole thing it'll probably be better and cheaper to get a GTS. In essence building a GT engine to rev to 8.5 k RPM would probably be making a 2zz without lift.

I'm not dumb enough to buy the same car twice so i'd probably go with an EVO instead.
