Does any one have one of these WingWest TRDstyle rear spoiler and are they happy with the fit and performance? Or is it all show? Thanks

I have the Wings West wing and it fit is perfect. I have it for mostly show. If you want performance i would recommend an aluminum wing.
By the Way what part of East Stroudsburg are you from? Im in Marshalls Creek.

Yeah, I use to work there. I usually parked in the back so no one could scratch it with a shopping cart. I also had one attempted theft there while working . Luckly my freind was waiting outside for me while the guy tried to break in. He never got in but he scratched my upper molding over the driver side window.

i have it but don't see any performance improvement b/c of it...so its mostly for show. it is high quality and fits perfectly. wings west will be releasing a newer version of the celica wing soon (if they haven't already). they were scheduled to release it this past november, but i don't know if it fell through. basically they had some complaints about the wing cracking in some areas. no problems here yet. the new wing will be made out of abs plastic (or so i heard) or something along those lines. all in all, the current wings west spoilers are top quality!

OK so there no down force with the WingWset wing? what about the view out the back? Does it block the rear view at all? Is it adjuctable? Wing angle? Thanks Ya , well I had my car hit by a stupid deer. Stupid animal jumped on my hood, leaving a nice dent. And now I got a new huge door dent thanks to home Depot in E.Stroudbsurg. F$%^king shoping cart was resting right against it. I got Lojack, so I blame the poor fool who tries to steal mine. Havoc

LOL a deer jumped on your hood!?!? sorry, that's just as funny as the other guy posting he hit a jaywalking possum alright, back to topic the wings west is non-adjustable. you can see perfectly out your rear-view mirror, better than the stock wing imo. (the stock wing cuts right across).

what are you guys talking about downforce for? you all know that we are a front wheel drive car. we dont need downforce in the back so any type of whing on our car is show unless you are going like 140mph. so there really is no need for the oversized parking bench aluminum wings either. because frankly. every single person out there makes fun of them. especially when they are taller than the car

hmm...is that the only difference because i've seen other cars with the WW lip spoiler but they just don't look as good as the TRD but i was looking at yours and was thinking why does that look so damn good. thanks! oh yeah, Do you have trouble coming up curbs with it? have you ever scraped the sides?

kim, i've never scraped the sides. the under belly of the lip spoiler, yes i have (but who hasn't ) if you scrape underneath, don't worry. it sounds bad but you can't see it! no problems with curbs yet. if you have to go over a speed bump of up a steep curve (and i mean steep), then angle the car. another tip, just remember that if you add the lip, the concrete parking slabs may not fit under the nose of your car. basically don't judge how close you should be to the slab by looking at the car beside you.
