I have a 2005 Celica GT automatic: tinted windows, K&N air filter, S2K antenna.

So what's next?

I considered the exhaust, but with an automatic, I really won't be getting any performance gains. So I am considering the final mod to just be rims and wheels. I priced out 18" and 17" and they came to $1300 and $1200 respectively. So I am wondering, is this the way to go? Or is there a mod that I am unaware of the would help out?

Gotta say, I do love this car, I get out after a couple hours of driving and want to just get back in, so dang comfortable and it definitely gets some looks.

exaust or intake will be fine on the car...you will have gains in performance and it is not like nothing at all will happen

if your into looks maybe a body kit? but thats a lot more pricey

good luck

I went to the muffler shop, and they talked about the resonator and the muffler. I just want to be sure, that the sound will be "deep" and not "rice." The other theing I priced out was rims at $1200...I think the car would look awesome with a little lower stance and wider tires to grip. Now the body kits look awesome, but yeah, pricey to get them attached and painted. It's like this: its seems so quick and peppy now, but I really need to go to a meet and see what a Celica can really do to get an idea of what I want to do next. smile

Get the TRD exhaust. That is your best bet especially since you have an automatic and dont want to lose any low-end power.

Any place that sells it in a bolt on application. Basically, I would love to do it myself if possible.

for affordable body kit check out GroupBuy4Celica's sales in the classified forum.

he sells replica kits that have great fitment - especially the Veilside EC-1 replica kit of his. perfect fitment for a replica kit. thumbsup

simple bolt on kits and he is having a holiday sale.
