it will make it sound better and give you some gains, but if your in an auto gt your never gonna be really fast anyway. If your just goin for the sound get yourself a short ram intake adn you'll get what you want.

yeah if you don't want big gains either now or in the future go shortram. It'll be better for your car and it will sound nicer too. However, I advise you against talking about how fast your car is once it sounds nice, else you want to be laughed at. You might consider getting an axle back exhaust too to get some sound and small gains.

Or check out the classifieds. I see some there for about half the price at times.

damn yo, we got the same car and we live in the same state too. but anyways, i don't own an intake but i hear it doesn't really get loud until you hit a higher rpm and it really sounds a lot better on a manual. I mean you can't really hear it unless you're at full throttle. but you should also consider going for an exhaust. the trd exhaust is noticable between 2500-35000 rpm's and then after that the noise from the engine kicks in

ok so what you're saying is, do get an intake although it doesn't do much for gaining, but rather just for noise, and get an exhaust? my cousin told me it wouldnt do anything for gaining much either since it is an auto, but i dont really care for speed. hmm...something to ponder upon.
now. how much would an exhaust cost? installing it and stuff? appreciate you guys helpin a sista out!

if you really went noise make sure you throw in some headers, if you dont care about performance, just get the hot shot header, so get intake header and exhaust and your set 2 go thumbsup

the best way to gain noise, get custom mid pipe and pick out a can muffler...
