It seems like just as soon as I get my car back something else screws up! Yesterday as soon as I pull into the LA celi meet I notice the front of my freaking side skirt is hanging loose! As you can see the hole where the bolt was broke. So I tried to use a new bolt with a washer to hold it on as a temporary fix. No luck. PLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS!

Cheap solution: drill a new hole a little higher, through the side skirt and into the frame. Use a self-tapping sheet metal screw to hold it on.

More elaborate solution: Use fiberglass to patch the hole in the side skirt so you can use the existing bolt again.

There are probably other, possibly better, solutions also.

I drilled a hole in mine and used a self tapping screw and it has not failed me yet(knock on wood).

The self-tapping screws would work, but what about the first hole? I dont want to have abunch of different holes in my car. frown

Yeah I would go with the tapping screw. Of if you want, you can get one of those clips that flare out into the hole and it will never come out.

get a plastic retainer clip, install that on the sideskirt, you might need to use glue to get it to attach, and then use touch up paint to make it blend.

Will probably not even be noticable.
