I'm thinking of getting some 18s to ride on and I want to drop the car. I was looking at the sportline springs but aren't sure if the drop will be too much or if the 18s will be ok and prevent me from bottoming out on bumps. I was also considering a tockio springs and shocks package, however this only lowers the car 1and3/8" in the front. Should I opt for the springs and shocks that way my suspension is properly matched. Or just lower it? Keep in mind I'm getting the 18s.

you won't bottom out with sportlines, especially 18's. I have sportlines with 15's and I don't have a problem. why do you want shocks? less dampening over stock? I have KYB adjustables for racing.

I have sportlines with 18's and have never bottomed out. I have a 215/35 tire though, i am not sure if i can go to a 240 or not, hopefully.

well the reason I was thinking about doing the shocks is because with new springs the shocks should really be upgraded. Plus I'm a sucker for handling, I really wanted coilovers but I just don't have the funds right now. I want the best stiffest handling I can get without having coilovers. I am willing to sacrifice some ride comfort for the handling. So you'd say sportlines instead of tockio?

are the sportlines on in your av pic? I'd like it a bit lower than that i think, blackcel. Anyway you could post a new pic from the side so I could get a feel for the drop the ones in your profile are with stock wheels.

It is a great time, in which the better driver almost always wins as most of the karts are very close in specs.
