Hello.
I jus started Turbo Project.
I will go for the same system as Celica-Turbo here on ecelica has.
Mapfuel with 4 extra injectors
big IC
Apexi
and a Mitsubishi td04-14t turbo.

I have questions about turbo.

How is Mitsubishi td04-14t compared ti kkk-k04 ?

Thx,
Martin

OK, You want to let us know what is your goal..?
So we can suggest the tuirbo for you. I dont know the Mitsu turbo but will have a look. The k4 is great for 6psi on streets. If you want high HP goals and upgade the engine internals, then I would suggest other turbo. Just tell more about your plans.

My plans is 6PS (0,4 bar) altso about 200hp.
I don|t have money for stage 2 so I am just going to have stage one.
It will inprove my car a lot anyway.

my goal is to have torque (Nm) vare early (1900-2300) rpm and get butt boost 80,4 bar) before 3000 rpm.

The mitsubishi turbo I whink will give me a boost at 2000rpm and get 0,4 @ 2500 rpm. whitch is what I want.

As you explained the k4 is similar. it spools up fast and gives torque on low rpm range, but still runs up to the end of the rpm band.
I would say check the prices in your area and get the cheaper as it seems there is not a big difference (if there is any). Both turbos are great quality.

c2gas: I am going to use MapFuel.
You know 4 extra injectors.
The car is running on orginal ECU, but when turbo start to boost the MapFuel opens 4 extra injectors.

My question is around BOV. I see you are using R2D2 BOV. but isn't it a little wrong as we have AirFlomMeater? If you take all air from the intake the car still think that the air is there and gives more fuel to balans air/fuel mixture(anoying get engine stop when starting from red light

I know as Celica-Turbo sad that I have to you Valve but I got to return air to the intake, then I never will have problems with to mutch fuel, but it is when I use MapFuel.
How is this problem with greddy e-manage?

We have the MAF located after the BOV so the maf only measures the air is gone into the engine.
BTW you know the MAF will not be able to read correct amount of air if its boosted. Its just not designed for that.
Sub injectors are cool, I just think its a bit harder to tune 4+(1-4) injectors then 4. Also is that solution cheaper then buying bigger ones? Or why U like this way?

This solution is cheaper then with greddy emanage.

I know that the MAF is not able to read all air, but it is solved, I am not sure how as it is danish spesiality.. but I t works very well.

I am going to chec this part with MAF placend and BOV placement.

c2gas. you got R2D2 BOV. can I use it with 14T turbo @ 0,4 bar? I thought to buy it from you together with; Copper Head Gaskets

pressure side BOV then MAF= more accurate readings, but can get dirty after a while (some oil spray gets to the pressure line from turbo)

MAF in intake, BOV in presure side= clean MAF all the time, but false readings and get rich when BOV is activated.

Recilculating= no sound

R2D2 is good as others as well. Also do some research what thickness of copper gasket would you want. wink

csgas.
I need a solution. As you maby know it is expensive to tall gaverment that I have turbo in my car, so I need a dual BOV solution.
Also. when I am normal driving I want a BOV whitch gets air back to intake, but for show of (Toyota meetings and so on) I want a R2D2 rofl
How to fix it? maby some kind of control from inside of the car?
