red is not red i used to hate red and when i got my celica i had every intent of changing it to black but the red grew on me now and i love it it always looks clean and black always looks dirty and i have seen some black celicas around and i didnt like the way they looked-i was on a site the other day that if you buy a spoiler there for an extra $100 tehy will paint it to match and under 2002 the red they offered was super red-under 2004 the red they offered was absolutely red so thats what threw me off-whatever red i have i love it but i just wanted to make sure of what shade of red it is

The only problem with red is that cops pull red cars over more than any other color car. (There have been insurance compainies who studied this.) It stands out. Before I got my spectra blue GTS, I had an absolutely red GT. I got pulled over more in that then I ever have in any other car before or since.

i have heard this before too. but from personal experience in my blck cavalier coupe i got pulled over a lot and in my red celica i have been pulled over once for something stupid so maybe its just the area i live in-very close to a lot of bad areas and black cars are usually dealers and thugs so in a red car i guess they dont think about it here
