I am going to paint my engine plastics tomorrow, but i need some last minute advice on color. i have a red hose techniques kit coming in the mail so all of my engine hoses will be red, and i want to do most of the plastics in red. i have a polished aluminum injen CAI, and i want to do the engine cover itself in silver/chrome w/red lettering (going to order emblems from e-celica). anyone think i should do this differently? too much red maybe? the car is silver, so i have a silver/red thing going.

also, on the GT, how the hell do you get those plastic "screws" off the back of the engine without breaking them? i have gone through two sets already. thanks for your advice.

A dark blue will actually look pretty sweet with red hoses and silver interior, imo thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

well, parts are cleaned, w/both simple green and dish soap. and the primer is on. i went with red for most of the plastics, and i am leaving the engine itself black for the moment, trying to decide if i want to paint it silver or not. i will post pics once the paint is done, and i get the rest of my incoming mods in.
